Nette Masche: Subscribers Only Downloads
September 8th, 2007Das ist ja eine fetzige Masche. Das Upstart-Blog produzierte schon einige sehr ansprechende minimalistische Wordpress-Themes. Um einen kleinen Benefit einzufahren, ist der Theme-Download (zumindest beim July07-Theme) aber an eine Bedingung geknüpft: Wie bei einer Schnitzeljagd muss man einen geheimen Link finden, der sich ausgerechnet im Footer eines jeden Beitrages befindet, den man per RSS-Abo empfängt (“Subscribers Only Downloads”). Auf diese Weise zollt man dem Macher zumindest ein Quäntchen Aufmerksamkeit und treibt die Feed-Abozahlen etwas hoch. Schöner Einfall.
